Jennifer MacCormack receives a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Individual Predoctoral Fellowship (NRSA) from the National Institute on Aging to study how changes to the nervous system with age impact emotions. The purpose of the Kirschstein-NRSA program is to enable promising predoctoral students with potential to develop into a productive, independent research scientists, to obtain mentored research training while conducting dissertation research. Cameron Doyle received an Honorable Mention from the Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellowship Program! The Ford Foundation seeks to increase the diversity of the nation’s college and university faculties by increasing their ethnic and racial diversity, to maximize the educational benefits of diversity, and to increase the number of professors who can and will use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of all students.
